Ingredients:
(To Marinate)
Shrimp: 1 lb, cleaned
Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
Chili Powder: 1 tsp
Pepper Powder: 1/2 tsp
Corn Starch: 2 Tbsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1/2 tsp
Salt: Enough
(For Sauce)
Onion: 1 small, diced
Green Chili: 2, diced
Green Onion: 2 stalks, sliced
Soy Sauce: 1 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup: 1 Tbsp
Oil: To shallow fry
Method:
- Marinate shrimp using the ingredients under To Marinate and set it aside for 20-30 minutes
- In a pan heat some oil and fry shrimp in batches and drain on a paper towel
- Add diced onion, green chili, and green onion in the same pan and saute till onion is translucent about 3 minutes
- Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for another 2-3 minutes
- Add soy sauce and ketchup, stir well and let it simmer for about 2 minutes
- Add fried shrimp to this, coat it well with the sauce and transfer it to a serving dish
This is a great dish to serve as an appetizer. Enjoy!!
